key account manager responsibilities

the key account manager for beckman coulter diagnostics is responsible for:

* identifying opportunities in new markets and emerging areas, driving growth across different product lines, and managing the whole sales process.
* possessing in-depth product and market knowledge, enabling the development of product line strategies within the division.
* overseeing planning processes that establish short, medium and long-term goals, as well as priorities, strategies, and programs to achieve those objectives; ensuring key success factors and strategic considerations are addressed.
* providing appropriate technical, scientific, and marketing support to various local and regional distribution channels (bcla) to meet sales targets set at the management level.
* ensuring results within a plan that guides business sales and marketing activities.
* reporting to the sales manager and being part of the private market sales team, located in guadalajara, while working remotely.
in this role, you will have the opportunity to

the essential requirements of the job include
* at least 5 years of proven experience in sales, with a solid understanding of market dynamics and customer needs; a proven track record in value-based selling, including effective objection handling and solution-oriented negotiation skills.
* demonstrated experience working with corporate tools and systems, including erp platforms, corporate processes, and executive-level reporting.
* strong knowledge of the key stakeholders and decision-makers within the private mexican healthcare and diagnostics market.
* intermediate level of english, with the ability to communicate effectively in a business and technical context.
it would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in
* hands‐on experience managing salesforce.com (sfdc) or similar crm platforms.
* experience in both direct and indirect sales models, including distributor management.
* background or exposure to routine laboratory operations, preferably within clinical or diagnostics environments.
* intermediate proficiency in excel and powerpoint, with the ability to analyze data and prepare professional presentations.
travel, motor vehicle record & physical/environment requirements
* ability to travel – 40% travel, overnight, within territory or locations.
* must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
