Drive automation improvements and support technical troubleshooting to minimize downtime and improve process efficiency. Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and process engineering teams.
key responsibilities:
* perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of complex automated machinery including smt lines (pick and place, reflow ovens, spi, aoi), selective soldering, ict, and functional test systems.
* execute scheduled preventive maintenance (pm) activities and maintain detailed equipment logs in the cmms (computerized maintenance management system).
* lead or support automation projects, including plc programming/modification, integration of sensors, actuators, and hmi updates.
* analyze recurring equipment issues using root cause analysis (rca) and propose long-term corrective actions.
* optimize maintenance schedules and standard operating procedures (sops) to increase machine oee (overall equipment effectiveness).
* collaborate with suppliers and oems for sourcing of spare parts, retrofits, and technical support.
* monitor and improve compliance with esd, iso 9001, iso 14001, and osha standards.
* train and mentor maintenance technicians on technical procedures and safety practices.
* prepare technical reports and maintenance metrics for weekly engineering meetings.
