*overview*: the staffing group, a leader in innovative recruitment solutions, is seeking a technical business analyst (tba) for a remote, contract position.in this role you will be working alongside and learning from an amazing senior project manager, with the joint responsibility of collaboratively securing internal agreement on a 6-12 month development roadmap of in-sourced and outsourced projects that you will be responsible for documenting.
some examples of projects include: machine learning big data project, aws dev ops review, mis development, ai integrations, saas recruitment software development, web scrapping, data wrangling, mobile app development, etc.
*key responsibilities*
- lead development of requirements documentation and related specifications, documentation and business cases.
- decompose, refine, and document requirements using appropriate graphical & textual techniques, including use cases, diagrams, process models, wireframes, functional and technical specifications.
- leads the collaboration with business customers to define scope for new projects, documents risks and assumptions, develops the delivery approach, and estimates cost and timings
- responsible for the functional systems design and working alongside developers to generate system flow designs as required
- coordinate and answerable to the senior project manager (argentina based) and pms assigned to specific tasks or projects (incl. using clickup)
- participates in and facilitates system design workshops with the business to solicit and document requirements (e.g. creation of user stories).
- researches, reviews and analyzes existing processes and develops strategies for enhancements. This will include a detailed review and documentation task of the current systems and aws environments working alongside senior developers.
- business process analysis and modeling
- participation in architecting the logical design of the system with the technical team, including screen design and specifications, data modeling, and documentation of logical processing flows.
- undertaking data analysis, review of information architectures and involvement in business intelligence (or mis) requirements documentation
- communicates with management (australia based), development (brazil & canada based), ux designers (croatia based) and external vendors (india, pakistan & other countries) regularly to ensure accurate understanding of requirements.
- assists with research on software and hardware products.
- collaboratively document projects, standards, onboarding material, request for information, request for proposal and related material. Plus in some cases write and perform testing.
*qualifications*
- bachelor’s degree with at least 4 to 7 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience (systems consulting experience desired).
- at least 3 years’ experience in large scale system implementation efforts following a standard software development lifecycle approach (scrum desired)
- experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, methodology development and data modeling.
- strong english oral and written communications skills.
- ability to create systematic and manual operations procedures in both technical and user-friendly language.
- demonstrated effectiveness in a fast-paced rapidly changing environment
- extensive knowledge of industry standard development methodologies and technologies.
- experience and deep understanding of aws devops
- extensive experience with clickup
preference: machine learning & data science ba experience.
