we are seeking a skilled manufacturing optimization specialist to play a key role in managing manufacturing resources and achieving objectives for one or more manufacturing sections or shifts.
key responsibilities:
* process improvement: develop strategies to enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce waste, and perform line balancing.
* procedure management: monitor and adjust manufacturing procedures as required to maintain optimal performance.
* equipment installation: install new equipment or technology to boost efficiency and productivity.
* continuous improvement: participate in continuous improvement initiatives and 5's of the area to drive sustainable growth.
* design and procurement: design, purchase, and install equipment that helps improve efficiency or product quality.
* external collaboration: work with external engineering companies to prepare specifications for machinery purchases.
* performance analysis: assist in analyzing production and product performance, identifying solutions to improve it and achieve cost reduction goals.
