Role overview
we are seeking a highly skilled sap finance application specialist to join our team.
* this individual will be responsible for providing expert-level support for sap finance applications, ensuring seamless system integrations with external platforms and driving sap fi/co projects and integrations with other modules.
the ideal candidate will have full fluency in english, a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, and at least 5 years of sap fico support experience. Strong knowledge of sap finance integrations, vertex, controlling, product costing, profitability analysis, project systems, and p2p processes is required.
responsibilities:
* support incident and change management for sap finance applications
* detailed analysis of business requirements and solution delivery
* be a trusted advisor to global controllers, supporting finance processes and compliance
* drive sap fi/co projects and integrations with other modules
* ensure seamless system integrations with external platforms
* monitor background jobs to keep business operations running smoothly
* translation of business needs into sap solutions, manage changes, and follow through to resolution
* bring new ideas—support continuous improvement and stay on top of sap trends
requirements:
1. full fluency in english – written and spoken
2. bachelor's degree in computer science, business, informatics, mis, or related field
3. 5+ years of sap fico support experience (ticket handling, solution delivery, incident management)
4. proven track record of support ticket resolution in a global environment
5. strong knowledge of:
* sap finance integrations
* vertex
* controlling, product costing, profitability analysis, project systems
* p2p processes
6. experience in 1st line support
7. ability to work onsite in mexico city at least 3 times per week
