Responsibilities
* design, develop, and maintain abap custom solutions across ecc and s/4hana.
* deliver high‑quality ricef objects (reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms).
* build abap oo applications, alv reports, background jobs, modularized code, and data dictionary objects.
* develop and enhance badis, bapis, user exits, customer exits, and implicit/explicit enhancements.
* support and troubleshoot idocs, rfcs, qrfcs, odata services, soap/rest apis, and integration with middleware (pi/po/cpi).
* create and maintain file/data processing programs, including bdc, lsmw, file uploads, migrations, and xml/csv utilities.
* develop fiori/ui5 apps, odata services, and perform ui debugging/performance tuning.
* build and maintain smartforms, adobe forms, sapscript, and print programs.
* support opentext, archivelink, dms, and document processing enhancements.
* develop rf screens, warehouse mobility solutions, and barcode/scanner integrations.
* perform s/4hana‑specific development: cds views, amdps, hana sql optimization, and code remediation.
* utilize rap, event-driven architecture, api-based development, and btp extension patterns.
* conduct performance troubleshooting using st22, st05, sat, sqlm, atc, and code inspector.
* follow devops best practices: transport management, charm, code reviews, agile, and ci/cd methodologies.
qualifications
* 5+ years hands‑on experience in abap development for ecc and/or s/4hana.
* strong experience with ricef, enhancement frameworks, apis, and integration technologies.
* solid skills in fiori/ui5, odata, cds views, amdp, and modern sap development models (rap).
* ability to troubleshoot complex issues across functional modules (sd, mm, fi, ewm, hcm, brim).
* strong debugging, sql optimization, and performance tuning abilities.
* experience working in structured environments (agile/scrum, charm, transport governance).
* excellent documentation, communication, and cross‑team collaboration skills.
