is responsible for supervising the operations of the manufacturing areas in the plant, to ensure safe and efficient manufacturing processes.
It promotes a workplace that complies with the health, safety and environment regulations.
Identify and correct operational deviations, to ensure that a quality product is met from receipt to shipment.
Gives support to group leaders, and general personnel in their charge; it also serves as a means of communication between the manufacturing manager and staff.
- *experience:
at least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
- *education:
preferably professional career in engineering or administration
- *knowledge:
- preferred english knowledge.
- computing packages (ms office)
- general knowledge of manufacturing practices.
- *authority:
those concerning your area such as:
- stop processes that may jeopardize employee safety and / or product quality.
- stop, modify or initiate processes according to work and material priorities.
- administration of the personnel in charge including disciplines, permits, vacations, pre-payroll authorization of the personnel in charge among others.
- have previously identified nonconforming material.
- notify the material that does not conform to the quality engineer, to later make the scrap layout.
