Responsibilities
* analyze raw material cost variances and impact on plant results.
* monitor inventory controls (e&o, cycle counts, adjustments, physical inventory).
* review items with zero cost and follow up on issues.
* support month-end close (us & mexico) for cost/inventory.
* prepare and analyze us recon and balance sheet accounts.
* update standard costs and routings for year-end processes.
* prepare productivity and scrap reports; align with qa.
* support audits and provide required financial information.
* develop cost analysis for new products and business cases.
* ensure compliance with company policies and processes.
requirements
* bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business.
* 3+ years of experience in cost or inventory accounting.
* good english communication (written & spoken).
* strong excel skills.
* experience with audits and financial analysis.
* knowledge of power bi, ai tools or power automate is a plus.
* strong organization, communication and problem-solving skills.
