Overview
we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented mid-level scrum master / project manager to support agile delivery execution and project coordination across technology teams. This role combines scrum master responsibilities with project management activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. The candidate should have experience facilitating agile teams while managing project planning, reporting, stakeholder communication, timelines, risks, and operational coordination in fast-paced environments.
key responsibilities
scrum master responsibilities
* facilitate agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives, backlog grooming sessions.
* support agile best practices and help teams improve delivery effectiveness.
* remove impediments and coordinate issue resolution with technical and business teams.
* monitor sprint progress, team velocity, and agile delivery metrics.
* promote collaboration, transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* assist product owners in backlog prioritization and sprint readiness.
project management responsibilities
* manage project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and execution tracking.
* create and maintain project plans, raid logs, and status reports.
* coordinate activities across development, qa, infrastructure, business, and vendor teams.
* track risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
* facilitate stakeholder meetings and provide project status updates to leadership.
* support resource planning and capacity tracking.
* ensure project documentation is properly maintained and updated.
* monitor project scope, schedule, and delivery commitments.
* assist with release coordination and deployment planning.
delivery coordination
* support successful execution of agile and hybrid project delivery models.
* ensure alignment between business requirements and technical delivery.
* escalate delivery concerns and help drive resolution.
* track kpis related to sprint health, delivery timelines, and team performance.
* collaborate with architects, developers, qa engineers, and product owners to ensure delivery quality.
required qualifications
* bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, engineering, or related field.
* 4-7 years of experience as a scrum master, project coordinator, project manager, or agile delivery role.
* strong understanding of agile methodologies including scrum and kanban.
* experience managing technology projects in agile or hybrid environments.
* knowledge of software development lifecycle (sdlc).
* experience coordinating cross-functional teams and multiple workstreams.
