*job details*:as a partner account manager (pam), you'll be responsible for helping to drive sales of tableau products within their assigned account list. You will develop strategic goals to drive partner success, represent tableau to partners, and lead a joint business development planning process with partners. These partners include tableau's most strategic and emerging regional system integrators (rsis), and value added resellers (var). By establishing and growing business and technical relationships, and managing the day-to-day interactions with these accounts, this role will drive top-line revenue growth and customer success.some of the things you'll be doing include
- serve as the tableau point of contact for the assigned partner organizations
- develop a deep understanding of the assigned partners' business strategy and build specific tableau growth initiatives that align to partners' business strategy
- increase partner-driven sales for tableau by establishing alignment between tableau and the partner organization by designing and running activities such as: quarterly business reviews (qbrs), joint account mapping, joint pipeline review and forecast, solution definition and alignment, and creating joint demand generation strategies.
- lead engagement in the field with tableau partner development managers in the field
- support sales activities, webcasts, roadshows, contract negotiations
- work effectively across organizations to drive strategic partner initiatives and partner enablement; report results to key internal stakeholders including marketing, sales teams, product teams, and executives.
*who you are...*:
- experienced. 8+ years demonstrated experience in technology sales, pre-sales, or business development (saas preferred). Experience with partner/channel/alliances account management.
- passionate. Have a passion for data, analytics, and technology. Care deeply about partner success and satisfaction.
- a true team player. Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with team members at all levels in the organization to get the best results.
