we are seeking a temopary replacement for operations controller position for filters plates factory in irapuato, mexico starting in november 2025. The role is to support the degeer factory project and act as the operations controller for the new factory.
*length of temporary contract in months*: 6
project controller role
- detailed financial planning including cash-flow, follow-up and cost control of the project in close co-operation with project management.
- planning and implementation of financial concepts, systems and tools (including sap and product costing concept) ensuring accurate reporting of the factory operations.
Operations controller role for factory
- act as a finance partner for factory management. Driving the quality and efficiency of the operations working close with factory management and key stakeholders.
- analyse accuracy and process quality of manufacturing operations and make recommendations and improvement proposals.
- provide ad-hoc financial analysis.
- prepare and ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial and operative reporting and plans according to company standards
- ensure timely actuals reporting including variance analysis and financial compliance in factory
- maintain rolling estimate
- manage controlling related master data according to global standards
- monitor financial and operative performance against plan and prepare variance analysis and proposals for improvements e.g. in cost effectiveness
- monitor changes in product costing and provide analysis on impacts to rolling estimate
- control production work-in-progress
- ensure accuracy of inventory transactions and reconcile with physical inventory
