Our team is expanding, and we are looking for an area sales manager international sales latam.
The area sales manager for international sales in latam plays a vital role in driving growth and expanding the company's market presence through distributor partnerships this role is dynamic and requires adaptability and agility to achieve the desired outcomes in a competitive business environment.achieved by identifying and onboard new partners, nurturing existing relationships, and implementing effective sales strategies and targets.
Expand the organisational market reach by leveraging the partner network. Serve as the primary point of contact for all distributors addressing the need for support, training, and resources to, resolving issues or conflicts, and fostering a collaborative and mutually beneficial partnership.
This includes identifying when, product training, sales training, marketing materials, and ongoing support, is needed.
Improved channel performance and productivity: monitoring and evaluating the performance of channel partners is a crucial aspect of the role. By tracking partner performance, and implementing improvement initiatives, the area sales manager should drive increased productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness within the channel.
Contract and agreement management: ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Bachelor's degree in chemistry or similar.
Knowledge of fine chemicals and laboratory consumables and equipment is a nice-to-have.
Demonstrated experience in managing distribution within the laboratory chemicals industry.
Strong understanding of channel management strategies including partner recruitment, enablement, and performance tracking.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Proficiency in sales and crm software (hubspot), sales data along with ms office suite.
Ability to travel as required to meet with distributors/channel partners, attend industry events, and represent the company within the laboratory industry.
Flexible – some overseas travel and overnights will be necessary.
