your position:
as a payroll intern, you will report directly to the department team leader.
you will provide support in various payroll and personnel administration processes, developing practical skills in a professional environment.
* support in pre-payroll and payroll processes
* support in weekly and monthly reports to different agencies in canada
* support in the process of paying union dues in canada
* support in staff onboarding and offboarding processes
* participation in meetings and calls with the payroll north america team
* support in the integration of the payroll system
requirements:
* active student pursuing a bachelor's degree in psychology, administration, human resources, or a related field.
* must have valid health insurance.
* availability to work from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in person.
* proficiency in basic office tools (excel, word, powerpoint).
* desirable: advanced written and spoken english, basic knowledge of administration.
* opportunity to gain practical experience in payroll and business services
* certificate of completion at the end of the program
