The customer support engineer is responsible for administering and providing assistance to engine owners regarding shop visit processes. He participates in daily gate review meetings, helps analyze technical shop findings reports from subcontracted repair vendors, and prepares engine condition reports. The engineer also compiles weekly status reports and, if required by the customer, reports on repaired and replaced parts, among other support functions related to shop visit follow-up. The Customer Support Engineer reports directly to the account engine owner leader of each program and functionally to the Customer Support Manager. Objectives and OJT are reviewed twice a year, with development paths including Junior and Senior levels, with potential progression to Engine Owner roles.
Qualifications
Ingeniero Aeronautico / Industrial / LAE or related field.
