**Fintech & Innovation Head**
HSBC Mexico is looking to recruit Fintech & Innovation Head, located in Mexico City.
Primary job responsibilities include:
- Lead the implementation of HSBC Mexico innovation and digital strategy bank-wide, gathering support from key stakeholders and promoting an entrepreneurial culture and growth mindset.
- Track the execution of the strategy and suggest remedial measures in order to maintain alignment to the plan.
- Conduct market research in order to develop, test and refine ideas and prototypes.
- Define and coordinate a governance to ensure the strategy implementation and key stakeholders aliment across the bank.
- Periodic strategy reviews to ensure that changes in the political, economic, social, technological and regulatory environment are taken into consideration.
Strategic initiatives identification and prioritization
- Lead the identification and prioritization of the most relevant opportunities that the bank should explore and capture
- Coordinate with business sponsors impact-feasibility analyses for the opportunities and business cases to continue with the experimentation
- Advise Senior Leadership on the opportunities and provide recommendations for implementation to ensure the correct initiatives are prioritized and actioned.
- Effectively track results of selected opportunities
Ecosystem empowerment:
- Monitor trends, activities and events in the Fintech, Tech and Innovation ecosystem
- Actively participate in the Fintech and Innovation ecosystem (events, forums)
- Build strong network with market participants like FinTech, mega tech, innovation ecosystems.
- Manage Fintech and ecosystem engagements, identifying commercial and customer opportunities
- Continuously identify potential partners for HSBC México
Testing and implementation:
- Design and implement a seamless process to efficiently test collaboration opportunities and scale successful pilots (i.e. onboarding, sandbox, proof of concepts)
- Act as a control tower of the testing stage ensuring the delivery of results
- Collaborate with business sponsors during the implementation phases
- Define remediation plans for unsuccessful pilots seeking to maximize investment returns
Requirements
Knowledge and skills requirement:
- Excellent organizational/project management skills.
- Strong leadership and good stakeholder management skills
- Document structuring and story boarding capabilities.
- Strong understanding of distribution, products, sales management and customer solutions in the financial services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with multicultural awareness.
- Solid working experience in the innovation and Fintech area, with direct involvement in technology companies or innovation ecosystem.
- Management experience in the development or sales of Fintech solutions would be an advantage
