The role ensures cost-efficient, compliant, and reliable logistics performance while driving continuous improvement across transportation networks and partners.key responsibilitiesinbound transportationimplement and manage transportation networks and systems for global inbound shipments to the site, ensuring efficient operations.coordinate daily transportation activities with 3pls, carriers, and warehouses, acting as liaison to resolve delays and operational exceptions.ensure compliance with mexican transportation regulations (carta porte, cfdi, sat/sct) while maintaining accurate documentation and operational records.monitor transportation kpis, audits, and reporting accuracy to support operational control and continuous improvement.define and standardize transportation processes, onboard carriers and logistics providers, and optimize transport setups to support startup, ramp-up, and high-volume production phases.finished vehicle transportationcoordinate planning and execution of finished vehicle deliveries across north america.manage transportation execution and tracking through a4d distribution systems.support recovery plans for critical or at-risk deliveries.monitor vehicle inventory flow and carrier performance, driving corrective actions when required.qualifications5–8 years of experience in transportation/logistics operations, including outbound and finished vehicle transportation.knowledge of export documentation for north america and latin america, plus solid understanding of carta porte, cfdi, and mexican transport regulations.experience using tms, erp systems, and advanced excel for transportation management and reporting.proven experience managing 3pl and customs providers and launching transportation operations in oem or startup environments; advanced english required.
