about the role
manages day-to-day operations of a sales team working with select clients or client groups to achieve business goals and ensure effective resolution of all issues raised by the client. experience in the energy sector — particularly in power generation or oil & gas — is highly valued.
what you will do:
* deliver business plan sales and market share targets for the company's products in the power generation market.
* supervise and coordinate the daily activities of staff engaged in promoting and selling solar's products and solutions; ensure that customers receive a high level of service before and after business closing.
* manage and direct a sales force to achieve sales and profit goals; determine discount rates.
* lead the identification of selling opportunities, customer satisfaction improvement, and business relationship enhancement.

* customer focus: knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions, and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
* industry knowledge: knowledge of the organization's industry group, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters; ability to apply industry knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
* relationship management: knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
* decision making and critical thinking: knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to analyze situations accurately and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
* business development: knowledge of business development tools, techniques, and approaches; ability to explore and develop potential areas of business growth for the organization.
* sales forecasting: knowledge of sales forecasting tools, skills, and techniques; ability to estimate sales trends in the market.
* education: bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience desired.
* bilingual skill requirement: fluent in english and spanish are required for this role.
