Develop process improvements and upgrades of the human resources (hr) technology systems and human resources information system (hris) including planning, system design, technical design, configuration and implementation of complex hr technology systems. Serves as the senior level business area subject matter expert for multiple hr technology systems and hris.


key responsibilities

* provide hris support and sustainment for ukg etime / ukg pro wfm across latam.
* quickly learn and understand the current etime configuration deployed in mexico, colombia, costa rica, panama, guatemala, argentina, and uruguay (phase 1 countries).
* partner with lac stakeholders to identify pain points in the current configuration.
* the initial etime deployment is closer to a migration, but identified issues may be reviewed and addressed.
* support continued deployments for remaining latam countries.
* ensure ongoing support for federal, state/province, and local regulatory changes.
* maintain and adjust system configurations in response to policy changes.
* build a strong understanding of fedex business, processes, and hr operations.


requirements

* bachelor’s degree in human resources information systems, computer engineering/science, human resources technology, statistics, math or other related analytical fields. Five (5) years' experience required in hr technology systems or related area providing application support and business systems analysis.
* written and spoken english c1, c2 and spanish proficiency.
* proven experience with ukg pro workforce management (wfm), including configuration, ongoing support, and implementation.
* hands‑on experience with ukg etime / ukg pro wfm, including configuration, support, and troubleshooting.
* experience supporting multi‑country hris implementations or deployments.


knowledge, skills and abilities

* strong computer skills with experience using statistical software, reporting interfaces, data mining tools, machine learning techniques and data visualization.
* time management and organization skills necessary to manage multiple projects, appropriately prioritize workload, plan resources to meet deadlines and goals, and respond to day‑to‑day functional needs.
* experience implementing complex projects.
* ability to anticipate and identify problems and use sound judgment and fact‑based analysis to develop effective and efficient solutions.
* solid understanding of the software development process, including requirement gathering, analysis/design, development tools/technologies, release/version control, contemporary testing methodologies and deployment management.
* able to create test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, and use best practice testing methods and qa.
* excellent analytical and problem resolution skills including troubleshooting.
* ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, employees and outside vendors.
* proven ability to partner with both internal technical and non‑technical staff as well as third‑party vendors to deliver effective results.
* must be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
* must be detail oriented with the ability to identify problems and gather relevant information to determine root causes and identify data integrity issues.
* ability to mentor, coach and act as a knowledge resource to other employees.
