te connectivity's operations managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations and short/long-term planning for the groups they manage. They manage manufacturing, production control, engineering, inventory control, eh&s, shipping/receiving, etc. focusing on the development of technologies and continuous improvement and translating customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes.

10+ years experience working as an operational/plant leader with proven experience
bachelors or master's degree
strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure, effectively managing competing priorities with available resources.
experienced in leading and creating a high performing team.
accustomed to having full responsibility for p&l/site and overseeing key departments including production, planning, warehouse, ehs, manufacturing engineering, facilities, tooling, maintenance and continuous improvement
good knowledge of all business processes along the value chain, their interaction and impact on operational results
deep knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and continuous improvement (5s, six sigma)
strong oral and written communications
project management skills
it skills (sap, ms, office)

responsabilities
plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations
analyze workflow, labor and equipment to maximize efficiency
increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs
be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping
allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
establishing and operating the plant in a safe and environmentally sound manner and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
preparing an annual operating plan, budget and direct all facility expenditures in line with the plan.

ensuring that the plant is maintained in accordance with the operational and manufacturing procedures and best practices within the business unit.
