we are seeking a skilled and experienced logistics and sales director to lead our regional warehouse operations in mexico. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily activities, maintaining high accuracy levels, and delivering exceptional customer service.
* warehouse management: oversee the opening and implementation of our new warehouse, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
* team leadership: direct operational personnel and supervise warehouse activities, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
* inventory control: ensure accurate inventory levels and key performance indicator (kpi) compliance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
* customer engagement: collaborate with customer service and material planning to ensure availability and coordinate with customers on program development and improvement.
* negotiations: negotiate prices, maintain profit margins, and achieve positive profitability through effective pricing strategies.
* performance management: manage team motivation and performance, working closely with human resources to develop and implement performance improvement plans.
* new business development: identify and develop new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with existing customers and expanding our market presence.
* operational excellence: implement operational improvements, analyzing data to drive decision-making and reporting key indicators to stakeholders.
