Responsibilities
* manages activities in accordance with eis governance rules, purchasing policy, and established processes.
* owns the supplier database: responsible for the local supplier database and its evaluation through an assessment process throughout the year.
* responsible for risk management with the support of the finance department (supplier financial health, penetration rate, etc.).
* compares mro costs and purchasing conditions with those of other ies plants.
* compares data and looks for opportunities for improvement.
* contributes to plant synergies by developing conditions with other buyers to leverage volumes and optimize costs.
* manages supplier databases in accordance with po policies and resolves issues with suppliers.
* monitors mro performance through standard kpis and is committed to savings.
* reports monthly and declares savings achieved in relation to current processes and standards.
* leads negotiations with suppliers: ensures fair competition among suppliers, makes sure that at least three competitors are compared to provide the best technical solution and lowest cost.
* manages the flow of purchase requests and launches the quote request process for the entire plant.
* prepares recommendations and presents them in sourcing.
