project manager – leased line / private line / data connectivity services

we’re seeking an experienced project manager to take ownership of delivering complex leased line and private line connectivity projects across multiple carriers and geographies. This role requires someone who thrives on coordination, problem-solving, and hands-on delivery, ensuring that critical infrastructure projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.

this is not a desk-only job — you’ll be directly involved in coordinating suppliers, resolving on-site bottlenecks, and working across borders to deliver mission-critical connectivity.

key responsibilities:

* deliver multi-carrier physical connectivity projects (mpls, evpl, iepl, submarine cable).
* map physical topologies and supplier demarcation points, ensuring clear ownership boundaries.
* coordinate and escalate with suppliers, driving accountability across complex delivery chains.
* handle on-site execution challenges, including access, permits, and construction issues.
* manage cross-border or international deliveries, including licensing and multi-country coordination.
* act as a trusted customer-facing representative, managing expectations, providing updates, and handling escalations.

what we’re looking for:

* proven track record in delivering leased line / data connectivity projects.
* experience with mpls backbone and local loop delivery, evpl rollouts, or submarine cable projects.
* skilled at coordinating multiple suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders simultaneously.
* strong customer-facing and negotiation skills, with the ability to apply pressure and resolve conflicts pragmatically.
* street-smart problem-solver with a focus on delivery, not theory.
* hands-on mindset — willing to step in directly to resolve bottlenecks.

* mid-sized wan service providers or organisations managing third-party leased-line delivery.
* cross-border connectivity projects and multi-carrier integrations.
* roles such as delivery manager, implementation lead, service delivery coordinator, or carrier manager.

the project manager works alongside pm team, business development team in the region they support as well as their team leader to deliver quality studies.

role and responsibilities

* ability to manage 10 projects at any given time
* manage overall quality by ensuring best practices are followed
* communicate and escalate any issues or feedback to shift pm manager as well the account managers

project ownership:

projects will also be assigned for full ownership. These projects will be “co-owned” by a member of the pm team that is working on the same shift hours in order to communicate with the client as well as set up and schedule the first batch of invites.

review project metrics (ir, completes, loi, sco, qtf)

analyze if additional invitations or reminders need to be sent in addition to what is already in field to achieve client goals.

manage overall quality by ensuring best practices are followed

communicate any project insights to “co-owner”

monitor cost ratio:

communicate and escalate any issues or feedback to pm manger as well as sales management

consolidate all actions taken, feedback, direction for “co-owner” and put into project email.

communicates resolution to pm working in the same shift

communicates to clients and vendors as applicable

assists in project management capability administrative duties as requested

learns and becomes proficient in advanced project management functions

pre-screener set up, adjustments, management and proficiency

use and management of mega quota groups

understanding and proficiency in using automatic sampling

learns and follows established process

requirements and skills

* at least 3 years of experience in project management, within the market research industry.
* project management expertise: strong understanding of project management principles, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing projects, with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.
* communication skills: excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage client relationships and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
* analytical and problem-solving abilities: strong analytical skills to assess project needs, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.
* attention to detail: high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in project deliverables.
* time management: exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
* technical proficiency: proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., microsoft project, asana, trello) and familiarity with data collection and survey platforms.
* team leadership: ability to lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
