the production planning team at your organization is involved in a variety of tasks that are crucial for the operational and strategic planning of production activities.
*what you will do*
- lead production planning team by bringing tools, couching, feedback and proper and in time support.
- support operations team bringing visibility, feedback, projections of the demand and customer behavior.
- collaborate with operations team looking for improvements with from materials perspective.
- measure & leveling the workload through the team with the different customer/product/sub assy based on the skills, experience & knowledge of the team.
- forecast the headcount need it based on the new business, bu needs, internal workload.
- develop tools, share knowledge, bring proper skills that may help them to increase performance and/or automate planning process.
- point of contact for internal & external escalations.
- monitoring of output and on time completion of work orders to ensure production plan dates are met (plan attainment, wo aging, wo variance)
- develop and maintain a robust process with the planning team to schedule demand in shifts according to production capacity, based on the calculation of people required and matching with the crd & mpd date to meet. To provide to operation long visibility of the capacity and head count needs to ensure the right late backlog reduction.
- leads the planning team the timely execution of exception messages to ensure mrp is lean and true to customer demand.
- collaborates with operations in the efficiency of resources (human, machinery & materials) to make production lines more productive
- practice of intellectual curiosity to challenge the status quo
- participate on internal & external audits; bring right & accurate information.
- develop, maintain & keep update documentation such as rres, job description, production planning process procedures.
- manage vacations & coverage within the planning team.
*who you are (basic qualifications)*
- professional degree.
- previous experience leading a team within a similar role.
- proven work experience on demand management, planning areas and leading teams.
- proven ability to use problem solving such as 5 whys, ishikawa, pdca, kaizen methodologies and lean manufacturing.
- high communications skills.
- good understanding of the supply chain.
- focused on results.
- high ability on teamwork and leading.
- high erp usage level, process.
- proven ability on different planning environment (mts, mto, mtf, etc).

- master's degree in administration.
- planning apics certifications.
- experience on operations smt, back end, manual assy, automated process.
- ecns, pcns, npis, product eng, pm experience
