About the role this position supports the merchandising team to grow sales, margin and market share. Also pursues opportunities of new item origin according to the market regulations and developing new products along with sourcing managers of each hub to improve new programs guaranteeing supply, quality and the best cost. What you ́ll do 1. Preseason planning organize and review planning activities before the season, in collaboration with sourcing manager, merchant, and dmm, according to the coo from the previous season. 2. Vendor setup initiate the setup process for new suppliers with the sourcing manager at origin, following the strategy to ensure a supplier id is ready for starting business with the market. 3. Buying plan align volume, quality, sizes, specifications, expected costs, and share expectations and goals with sourcing managers according to the merchant's needs. 4. Cross-functional communication communicate with all cross-functional teams to inform them of upcoming programs, validate capabilities, and provide visibility for logistics purposes. 5. Item regulatory form: h.t.s works with the sourcing manager to complete item regulatory forms for customs purposes, ensuring correct importation of each item. 6. Item creation follow up on item creation with the imports team and merchants 7. P.o. Generation monitor p.o. generation to ensure the final program aligns with mabd. 8. Shipments works closely with the imports and global logistics teams to validate on-time departures, address cancellations with new p.o.s, and provide supply alternatives to cover program gaps, in collaboration with the sourcing manager 9. Compliance ensures that suppliers comply with all documentation and sanitary requirements set by mexican authorities before arrivals, avoiding delays during customs dispatch. 10. Rejections follow-up coordinate with quality teams to take decision regarding rejections and negotiate with suppliers if claim is needed 11. Monitoring category performance coordinate kpi sessions with sourcing manager and merchants to review deviations and develop solutions to ensure supply according to the program. What you ́ll bring: previous experience in imports, sourcing, merchandising or related areas demonstrable planning and analytical skills. Strong strategic leadership and cross functional teamwork skills a team player with the ability to work with associates from diverse cultures. Fluency in spanish and conversational english is required.
