Role summary:
the contract administrator engineer serves as the primary contact for ensuring compliance with flowserve’s aftermarket platform and performance-based contracts. This role supports multifunctional teams—including leadership, commercial, execution, business development, finance, and legal—to analyze key contract details and develop processes that maintain contractual compliance for both flowserve and its customers.
responsibilities & requirements:
collaborate with business development, execution managers, on-site application engineers, and sales teams to ensure flowserve fulfills contract commitments
manage accountability of the lca contract, including fee adjustments, discounts, and credits related to contract incentives
update and maintain contract profiles, flowforce, ms teams, and other systems with contract or personnel changes
evaluate and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, execution, and compliance with contracts
coordinate and work constructively with internal resources on joint projects for the benefit of flowserve and customers
perform other duties as assigned
preferred experience / skills:
strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify errors or inaccuracies in contracts
proven ability to plan, organize, and achieve goals
experience with procedures, organizational and operational facilities
proficient with ms teams, excel, word, and powerpoint
effective collaboration skills across teams
solid business and financial acumen
excellent communication skills for engaging multiple organizational levels
self-motivated, eager to learn, assertive with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
customer-facing experience (customer service, sales, planning, contract administration) is a plus
familiarity with flowserve business systems preferred
bs or ba degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or related field
2 to 4 years of relevant experience
