Key responsibilities
financial operations:
oversee and manage all financial operations, including fp&a, controlling, reporting, and accounting.
* ensure timely completion of month-end closing and prepare monthly financial statements and operational reports for site leaders.
* analyze variances and communicate explanations to senior management with recommended actions.
* lead monthly forecasting and yearly budgeting processes for financial statements.
* develop strategic product costs planning, long-term product costs roadmaps, budgets, and evas for new products and projects, reconciling actuals with budgeted variance.
* analyze, reconcile, and bridge cost reductions through productivity initiatives.
team leadership:
* direct and motivate a high-performing finance team of +10 members, driving a culture of efficiency, effectiveness, and continuous improvement. Integrate and train new staff while leading the professional development of existing team members.
* focus on financial process improvements, support departmental strategy, lead digitalization and automation efforts, develop performance dashboards, and provide key financial reports, encouraging innovation and new technologies.
* collaborate closely with senior management to explain results, provide proactive support and consultation, drive improvements, manage projects, identify inefficiencies, understand operations, and lead complex analysis.
* monitor and implement plant internal controls, ensuring reporting integrity, safeguarding company assets, and identifying risks.
* ensure accurate and compliant financial statements, adhering to ifrg international financial reporting guidelines and statutory requirements.
