Sales business planning, forecasting and market analysis

Job purpose as the sales forecasting manager, you’ll help the organization align pipeline activity, forecasts, and operational plans. Reporting to north american aftermarket leadership, this role partners closely with sales, marketing, finance and operations to translate data into clear, actionable forecasts and reporting that drive smarter decisions. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys improving processes, leveraging data and tools like crm and analytics tools, and having real ownership over how the business plans and executes. Key responsibilities develop and maintain sales forecast by utilizing historical data, market trends, production information, and sales team inputs. Monitor and track actual performance of forecast and update projections based on changing business dynamics and market trends. Analyze sales and market data to provide insights to sales team as well as aftermarket and plant leadership; create standard and ad‑hoc reports and presentations as needed. Compile sales data to calculate ytd rebate accruals and payments to customers, buying groups, and international buying groups. Qualifications bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, analytics, finance, economics, or a related field. 5 years of experience in sales forecasting, data analysis, or business intelligence roles. Experience with forecasting tools and crm systems (e.g., strong excel, salesforce, powerbi). Strong proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and forecasting techniques. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to provide recommendations to senior management. Strong english language skills (written and verbal); spanish preferred. Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to identify trends and propose solutions. Self‑driven and proactive in managing responsibilities. Automotive production and/or aftermarket experience preferred.
