warehouse implementation director
the main responsibilities for this position will be:
leads and coaches the warehouse implementation team throughout multiple projects to ensure a successful launch of complex and strategic projects
owns internal checkpoint process to communicate project health at predetermined intervals throughout the project lifecycle
engages with projects through business development to ensure conceptual solutions and supporting materials are in line with the client’s needs and timing requirements while validating internally the feasibility of the overall solution and receives alignment from internal key stakeholders
directs project priorities & timeline milestones through the coordination of a project manager, work stream owners & client while assuring that all requirements are met for constructing, starting, and operating the project
coordinates budget activities through project finance resources to meet contractual commitments while providing insight into areas needing cost reduction and process or profit improvement
identifies and manages risk throughout projects; ensures communication to all stakeholders including executives and clients
ensures predetermined operational kpis, metrics and health reporting are established and monitored on a consistent basis
requirements
bachelor ́s degree completed
preferably pmp certified
languages: english (fluent)
at least 4 years in a leadership position
at least 10 years working in a warehousing environment
extensive knowledge of warehouse operations, layouts, systems, project management, and material handling equipment
excellent strategic thinking, communication and negotiation skills
ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
