responsible for facilitating customer service requests and responses for primary customer contacts
*responsibilities*
- responsible for customer service functions to assigns customers
- facilitate customer change request including schedule changes with other teams and customers
- provide support of sales team functions including word processing, spreadsheets, and other reports
- responsible for participating in contract review
- responsible for entering orders and forecast into mdss
- responsible to direct the shipping department on shipments relating to assigned customer
- comply with safety and environmental regulations from plant and external agencies
*experience /requirements /qualifications*
- related technical experience
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- english intermediate
- proficient in the use of personal computers and microsoft software including access, excel, word and outlook
- minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- knowledge on mrp, kan ban, synchronous material flow, and jit, preferred, but not required, will train
- excellent telephone etiquette.
