A leading company in the automotive sector is seeking a Human Resources Generalist (Jr. Level).
This role is essential in ensuring compliance with labor regulations and strengthening employee and union relations, while fostering a collaborative, fair, and productive work environment aligned with the organization’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with current labor laws and internal HR policies, promoting fair and lawful labor practices.
- Manage all labor relations matters, including union negotiations, conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, and labor inspections or audits.
- Represent the company before labor authorities and government institutions regarding legal and administrative matters.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies aligned with organizational values and culture.
- Collaborate in core HR processes such as personnel administration, organizational development, training, and workplace climate.
- Monitor labor relations indicators and develop strategies for conflict prevention and resolution.
- Maintain strong, professional relationships with union representatives to promote constructive dialogue and mutual trust.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Solid knowledge of Mexican labor legislation and union processes.
- Proven ability to manage labor relations in unionized environments.
- Strong compliance orientation and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal relationship skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced English is a must.
- Familiarity with IATF 16949.
- Experience with labor audits or labor compliance certifications.
