job description:
position summary:
position is responsible for entry level processing of indirect invoices and assistance of direct invoices for company vendors. Will be the owner of incoming mail.
essential functions:
* process vendor invoices, investigate and resolve discrepancies and reconcile vendor accounts
* participates in organization's process improvement projects
knowledge:
* strong knowledge of accounting principles
* working knowledge of accounts payable processes preferred
experience:
* 1-5 years of ap experience in a manufacturing environment.
* sap or other erp experience a plus
skills:
* strong microsoft office skills (specifically excel)
* able to communicate effectively (oral and written) bilingual (english spanish)
* able to prioritize tasks with the help of management
* ability to analyze and problem solve in controlled environment
education:
* have or working towards an associate degree in accounting or finance required
