your mission
we aim to be a leading global provider of high-quality data products, services, and rich, actionable insights derived from connected car data, in a privacy-compliant, non-discriminatory, and easy-to-consume manner.

as a sales & solutions engineer in our rapidly growing north american sales team, you will collaborate closely with sales, engineering, and product teams to identify new opportunities to drive revenue growth and provide top-tier technical and strategic support for complex and advanced deals.

responsibilities
in a high-growth startup environment, priorities may shift, so this role includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:


* be a technical expert in mobilisights data products, helping prospects and partners understand features and resolving technical issues to facilitate deal closure.
* act as a liaison between product and sales teams, translating technical feedback and remaining highly available to support sales and cross-functional teams.
* oversee smooth integration and onboarding of new customers onto mobilisights’ data platform, working with product and technical teams on proof-of-concept and co-development efforts to establish reference accounts in new markets.
* engage deeply with customer accounts (through integration, upselling, cross-selling) by becoming a trusted advisor to current and prospective customers.
* demonstrate the value of mobilisights’ products, services, and platform capabilities via webinars, customer sites, or events such as conferences and trade shows.

basic qualifications
* bachelor's degree
* at least 5 years of experience in pre/post-sales engineering, customer success, professional services, or similar customer-facing roles, including 3+ years with technology/data products and platforms
* experience developing technical gtm strategies, with a strong customer-centric and problem-solving approach
* blend of consultative selling skills and technical knowledge to engage with product and engineering teams internally and with customers/partners
* strong analytical skills for analyzing customer data and developing insights
* experience working with early adopter customers to build scalable solutions
* process and data/analytics orientation, with experience establishing processes and using tools for sales management and reporting
preferred qualifications
* bachelor's in computer science, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or related fields
* familiarity with tech stacks, cloud platforms, tools, and applications
* successful track record selling complex technical solutions
* ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
* entrepreneurial spirit and readiness to build and scale new business
* experience with data use-cases in insurance, mobility, telematics, and fleets
* experience with data from connected cars and devices
