the plant hr business partner is responsible for the development and delivery of expert advice in various hr disciplines, hr strategy, projects, hr policies, regional office manuals, and collective agreement development and application. The incumbent is an active member of the hr division's management team.
key responsibilities
* actively participate in establishing priorities for the hr division and developing and implementing its strategic direction.
* manage job descriptions, candidate selection, and hiring decisions, including performance management and disciplinary measures.
* oversee multiple activities and projects, contributing to the strategic direction and mission of the hr division.
* manage complex performance management issues, complaints, grievances, and employee terminations while ensuring equitable hr policy application.
* provide guidance on difficult or precedent-setting hr cases and negotiate strategies at the collective bargaining table.
job qualifications
* hard skills:
o expertise in hr management and labor relations.
o 3 years of experience in senior roles, with experience in manufacturing sites.
o knowledge of mexican labor laws and hr best practices.
* soft skills:
o excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o strategic thinking and decision‐making abilities.
o ability to manage sensitive and complex employee relations issues.
o strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
* nice to have:
o familiarity with emerging trends in hr management.
