This role plays a key part within the united states financial services (nmac), focusing on supporting financial results through automation, process improvement, and control. It provides strategic support for decision-making related to administrative expenses by collaborating with internal clients, presenting ideas clearly and concretely, and demonstrating a deep understanding of the business. Additionally, this position involves interaction with other regions and company functions.
*key responsibilities*:
- deliver timely and accurate financial information - actuals, forecasts, business plans.
- act as a business partner with the operations departments and other entities & regions to ensure alignment on financial goals, strategies, and deadlines.
- accounting acumen - accrual & reclassifications posting and management; account/cost center-level reviews; p&l/balance sheet knowledge.
- financial acumen - bridges, variation, trends, and analysis generation & presentation; active participation in budget and forecast processes.
- ensure that the company doa is being followed - purchase requisition approvals.
- intercompany processes knowledge.
- capex processes knowledge.
- enforce internal control and best practices - help as a point of reference for other parties on the best courses of action.
- process improvement - analyze the current processes in place and identify how as a team we can improve and become more efficient.

*qualifications*
*education/certifications*:
- must have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business administration.
- desired master's degree in finance or accounting.
*languages*:
- advanced english proficiency.
*previous work experience*:
- at least 5 years of relevant financial experience.
*computer skills*:
- proficiency in sap.
- advanced skills in microsoft office (excel, powerpoint, word, etc.).
*other knowledge, skills, and abilities*:
- strong knowledge of sap (accruals, reports).
- automation-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency.
- ability to challenge the status quo.
- strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- self-driven and autonomous; able to work independently, including remotely.
- in-depth understanding of financial accounting processes and financial statements.

- experience with tableau for data visualization and reporting.
