Sr analyst – contract logistics
overview
this position supports the sales cycle from lead generation to proposal preparation and ensures a strong pipeline of prospects aligned with company strategy.
key responsibilities
* research and identify potential customers in industries.
* qualify leads and schedule meetings with potential clients.
* support the preparation of customized proposals, quotations, and presentations.
* work closely with related teams to develop cost models and tailored solutions.
* maintain accurate and updated records of leads and opportunities in the crm system.
* monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
* assist in marketing activities such as trade shows, customer visits, and promotional campaigns.
* follow up on new business opportunities and set up client meetings to convert leads into active customers.
requirements
* bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, international trade, or related field.
* 2–5 years of experience in sales or business development, ideally within logistics or supply chain. Or experience in engineering, warehouse operations, or customer service within logistics industry.
* strong communication and negotiation skills (advanced english and spanish).
* analytical and detail-oriented; comfortable working with data and pricing models.
* proactive, results-driven, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
preferred skills
* familiarity with wms systems and logistics operations.
* experience with crm tools
* understanding of incoterms, 3pl/4pl concepts, and contract logistics processes.
* experience in transportation and freight forwarding.
