the position and your daily adventures
this is a full-time position based in our mexico city office with a hybrid model, therefore we are looking forward to seeing you in our office 2-3 times per week.
we're looking for an seo specialist to lead and execute our organic growth strategy. You'll own all seo initiatives — from keyword research and content planning to on-page optimization and performance analysis.
this role requires a mix of strategic thinking, analytical expertise, and project management. You'll collaborate closely with our marketing and content teams and manage external partners to enhance organic visibility, increase website traffic, and drive lead generation through seo and landing page optimization.
you and your assets
* own and execute the seo strategy, ensuring alignment with klar's overall growth and lead-generation goals for both b2c and b2b segments.
* conduct keyword research and content gap analysis to identify opportunities that enhance organic visibility across web and social platforms (including youtube).
* manage and coordinate seo agencies and freelancers, overseeing the production and optimization of content such as blog posts, landing pages, and website updates.
* monitor website health and identify technical or content-related issues affecting performance or ranking.
* lead on-page and off-page optimization efforts, including metadata, internal linking, and backlink strategy.
* work closely with product, marketing, and content teams to improve landing page performance, conversions, and user experience through seo insights.
* track and report key seo metrics, analyzing performance to inform continuous improvement.
* stay current with seo trends, tools, and algorithm updates to apply best practices and maintain strong organic positioning
* collaborate with the social media team to optimize video descriptions and ensure consistency of organic content efforts.
what we are looking for:
* 2–4 years of experience in seo or growth marketing, ideally within a fintech or digital-first company.
* proven track record of improving organic visibility and website performance through data-driven strategies.
* strong analytical mindset, comfortable interpreting data, trends, and performance reports.
* hands-on experience with seo and analytics tools such as semrush, google search console, and ga4.
* experience managing agencies, freelancers, and cross-functional initiatives.
* solid understanding of content strategy, keyword intent, and conversion optimization.
* excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across marketing, product, and social teams.
* proactive, curious, and detail-oriented, with a passion for staying ahead of seo trends and best practices.
* basic knowledge of html or technical seo concepts is a plus.
