Esp global services is seeking a bilingual desktop support technician in matamoros, coahuila, mx. The role involves addressing technical issues escalated from the helpdesk and working with end users to troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity problems, along with supporting the business on project-based requirements and imacs.
what will you do?
* install, troubleshoot, and repair desktops, laptops, and peripherals, pc imaging and refreshes.
* provide smart hands support for networking hardware.
* troubleshoot windows, ios, and android operating systems, software installations, and security updates.
* manage basic active directory tasks.
* troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues (lan, wan, vpn, wi-fi).
* respond to basic customer incidents and service requests from the client service desk and resolve general user faults within agreed slas.
what will you bring to esp?
* experience: 1-3 years it maintenance and support experience, troubleshooting experience, including knowledge of microsoft desktop software (windows 7, 10, 11, office 365 suite) and operating systems, as well as working knowledge of it hardware.
* languages: a minimum b2+ (cefr) in english and the local language.
* technical skills: good command of windows os, active directory, basic knowledge of lan/wan setups and concepts.
* certifications: comptia a+ (or willingness to obtain); itil knowledge is a plus.
* soft skills: strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.

* able to lift or push 20-50 pounds of equipment if needed.
* able to stand or kneel for extended periods of time.
* able to use mechanical tools.
