to coordinate and execute all international import and export operations, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, optimizing costs, and guaranteeing the timely delivery of goods.
key responsibilities:
* manage import and export operations, including coordination with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers.
* prepare and review international trade documents (invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bl/awb).
* ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations (noms, permits, duties).
* monitor shipments and resolve any delays or customs holds.
* analyze tariffs, duties, and transportation costs to optimize operations.
* maintain updated records of customs procedures and regulatory changes.
* coordinate with procurement, sales, and finance teams to align logistics and commercial goals.
* maintain updated databases of suppliers, freight agents, and customs providers.
* oversee correct application of incoterms and trade agreements (e.g., usmca/t-mec).
* ensure proper inventory reception and documentation for imported/exported goods.

qualifications
* bachelor's degree in international trade, logistics, business, or related field.
* 2–4 years of experience in import/export operations.
* knowledge of customs legislation and incoterms.
* experience with customs documentation.
* intermediate to advanced english proficiency.
* proficiency in excel and erp systems (sap, oracle, etc.).
* attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
