Overview Senior Solution Consultant at Genesys — Pre-Sales role on the Solutions Consulting team. Works with Sales Account Executives to develop new business across Genesys product lines; performs a consultative role to map customer needs to Genesys software, services, and consulting offerings delivered in a holistic solution.
Key Responsibilities Work alongside Sales Account Executives to provide technical and consulting expertise regarding the Genesys solutions.
Manage assigned prospects/customers to help progress sales opportunities.
Bring a deep understanding of customer problems and solution benefits to all prospect and customer interactions.
Ensure Sales Account Executives are supported effectively.
Act as a link between customer needs and potential solution value. Given the technical complexity of the Genesys offering, this role is imperative to the success of sales opportunities.
Develop and apply best practice principles in Solutions Consulting, have a good understanding of Service Design methodology, and engage effectively with executive and middle level management.
Engagement in Opportunities Understand customer requirements through consultative discovery efforts.
Using a service design methodology, uncover gaps in the customer experience (CX).
Co-create solutions with the customer to bridge CX gaps.
Match Genesys solutions to customer requirements; address the needs of both business and technical influencers.
Effectively handle objections and demonstrate value.

Minimum Requirements Experience in a Solutions Engineering role, providing live demonstrations and developing presentation materials in PowerPoint and/or Keynote.
Strong time-management and organizational skills; ability to multi-task and manage multiple streams of work.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.
Analytical ability with data-driven reasoning and evidence-based recommendations.
Proven track record of meeting/exceeding established goals; ability to communicate with Genesys management as required.
3+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: software-focused Solutions Engineering (cloud or SaaS, microservices), consulting in a software environment, or international experience in Solutions Engineering or consulting (plus).
