Be part of our team as a *crew controller*, where you will ensure effective flight operation coverage within the 48-hour window prior to departure, guaranteeing that all flights have the required and legally compliant crew members. This is achieved through continuous monitoring of crew schedules, crew assignments in accordance with regulations, collective bargaining agreements, and company policies, as well as the efficient management of last-minute changes.
You will provide real-time follow-up on assignment status to anticipate scenarios that may require adjustments not considered in the initial schedule. Constantly verify key indicators to ensure proper flight crew assignments, including document validity, flight time limits, duty periods, rest requirements, among others. Additionally, you will perform daily flight hour balancing as a result of the operational adjustments that must be carried out at all times.
*key responsibilities*:
- assign and monitor crew coverage in real time, with proper anticipation, executing last-minute changes as needed.
- provide support and assistance to crew members regarding requirements that impact the day of operations.
- report relevant operational incidents and decisions, as well as deviations from regulations and procedures.
- optimize resources while ensuring compliance with regulations, collective bargaining agreements, and company policies.
- effectively coordinate with the areas involved in daily operations to prevent operational disruptions.
*required knowledge and skills*:
- bachelor’s degree or engineering degree completed.
- availability to work rotating shifts under a 4x4 schedule.
- minimum of 1 year of experience with knowledge of aviation regulations, handling manuals and technical documentation, and understanding fatigue management.
- customer service skills, teamwork, effective communication, and critical thinking.
- knowledge of and experience with tools such as microsoft office suite, aims, and yarvis.
