what will you contribute? this is an exciting lead generation opportunity for individuals interested in developing their sales career within a leading financial services software organization. As a sales development representative, you will act as the liaison between our marketing and sales teams. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.

* manage and qualify new and existing leads through inbound and outbound channels.
* collaborate closely with account executives to qualify leads and ensure engagement with the right accounts.
* use tools and technologies to improve process efficiency, maintain sales forecast data and regularly review and update the sales reporting system (crm).
* keep up to date with current industry trends, competitors, and new company products and services.
* participate in user group meetings and trade shows as needed.
* participate in training programmes as directed by the manager.
* own and manage lead generation targets, forecasts, and performance via weekly, monthly and quarterly sales reporting.

experience

* 0–2 years of experience within sales, sales support, business development or inbound/outbound b2b phone marketing or sales (highly preferred, but not required).
* ability to communicate in english both orally and written is required. Portuguese is a plus.
* banking, finance or software background recommended.
* account management experience a plus.

* performs outbound on relevant digital sales channels to drive daily lead generation.
* account research, cold calling, lead follow‑up and opportunity qualification in a specified territory.
* create, discuss, and update management on monthly/quarterly sales forecasts with recruitment and operations.
* provide qualified opportunities to the sales team, working closely with senior sales reps as necessary.
* achieve or exceed monthly quotas of qualified opportunities.
* knowledge of crm and top‑funnel sales tools/techniques.
* produce and attend virtual us/eu technology events to network, pitch and sell.

hsbc business development manager – global trade and receivables finance (gtrf)

objective the role holder is responsible for generating revenue through new to bank (ntb), new to gtrf (ntt) or cross‑selling gtrf products, partnering closely with coverage teams and product partners. The bdm will evaluate client portfolios, identify opportunities, and match them with hsbc’s gtrf solutions.

* develop new revenue streams by identifying opportunities across industry sectors and client segments.
