Our client has a presence in landmark locations around Mexico and the Caribbean and is currently seeking a Senior Asset Manager.
You will play a crucial role in maximizing the value and profitability of hotel assets, acting as the critical link between owners, management teams, and regional/brand teams.
The position is based in Mexico City, México.What the job involvesOversee all operational and financial performance ensuring alignment with long-term investment goalsDrive strategic revenue and profitability, optimize pricing, channel mix, demand forecasting, and commercial initiatives to maximize top-line revenue and ROIReview P&L;, balance sheets, cash flow, and budgets; hold operating teams accountable for financial performance and cost managementDevelop and execute long-term strategies including pre-opening, repositioning, renovations, and rebranding to enhance property value and guest experienceBenchmark against competitors, track trends, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actionsServe as primary liaison with owners, providing insightful reporting and ensuring alignment with investment objectivesCollaborate with GMs and executive teams to improve market positioning, brand performance, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiencyOversee capital projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and alignment with strategic goalsReview and approve management contracts, leases, and ensure adherence to legal, franchise, and brand standardsWork closely with acquisitions, investment, engineering, and regional teams to execute ownership and investor strategiesWho we are looking forFinancially and analytically strong, skilled in modeling, reporting, and interpreting complex dataThorough knowledge of the Mexican hospitality market, primarily the urban, all inclusive, and luxury segmentsHands-on experience with revenue management systems, BI tools, and market data platformsStrategic thinker with a focus on long-term asset value and high-impact decision makingProven interpersonal skills for negotiation, communication, and stakeholder managementBachelor's degree in hospitality management, finance, business administration, or related field; MBA or master's degree highly preferredBilingual (Spanish & English) with experience in international hospitality operationsWillingness to travel 40–60% for site visits, meetings, and capital project oversight
