The role
we are seeking a skilled and innovative r&d associate manager to lead our productivity design to value platform and dtv (design to value) lab projects. As an r&d associate manager, you will be responsible for designing and executing product and process development, ensuring safe, stable, regulation-compliant, and correctly targeted products and processes.
responsibilities
* to deliver safe, stable, regulation-compliant and correctly targeted products and processes.
* deliver executional design to value projects in line with marketing strategy and consumer preference from bench top development to scale up trials working together with field ready.
* coordinate communication with other beverage sectors, and sector operations to ensure reporting & understanding of productivity in sector and globally for beverages
* keep in strict compliance with stage gate (my innovation) and new product development processes and aligning adequate priority assignments to each initiative.
* closing interaction with ingredient suppliers (raw materials, new technologies, etc.), providing accurate & brief proposals, reviewing and confirming due specifications and establishing a quality vendor agreement (coa/coc).
* monitor product development process within established schedule and contribute to risk analysis and identification.
* closing interaction with regulatory and food safety to gain time in formulae development and validating labeling information.
* closing collaboration with analytical sciences and microbiology groups to develop raw material specs and processes.
requirements
* bachelor's degree in food science, food technology, food chemistry, food engineering, chemical engineering, or chemistry, with 4 to 7 years of experience in product development; experience in manufacturing or beverages is a plus.
* knowledge of food safety, gmps, quality systems, and sensory analysis; capable of ensuring safe, compliant, and consumer-preferred product designs.
* analytical and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify improvement opportunities, propose technically sound alternatives, and maintain focus on consumer impact.
* skilled in project management and cross-functional collaboration, especially in aligning with regulatory, suppliers, and technical teams to validate processes and specifications.
* excellent communication and interpersonal skills; advanced english proficiency (spoken and written); ability to influence and build trust across functions and levels.
