the team
the f&ep team focuses on implementing fintech solutions that support and improve the client's full cycle of financial and strategic planning processes, including budgeting, reporting, consolidations, and financial modeling, through developing holistic solutions in anaplan, oracle epm, and one stream platforms. We help organizations thrive in a digital world by implementing one source of truth to get real-time financial information for decision-making, that is cost-effective and allows flexibility for financial and non-financial users' experience.
the fintech team drives effective project cycles to build, test, deploy, and maintain financial models for revenue, expense, workforce, capital or other operational or long-range financial plans.
background:
* 3-5 years of experiencie
* bachelor's degree in finance / accounting / business or related field
* 2-3 years working with accounting information systems, preferably anaplan
* strong financial and management reporting skills
* strong problem solving and analytical skills / financial, data and excel modeling
key deliverables
anaplan model builder tm1
* understanding of tmt, life science and healthcare, banking and investments, and supply chain industries.
* excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* project management experience and certification (e.g., pmp) is an advantage.
* strong stakeholder management and consulting skills.
* receipt, management and closing of incidents, problems, change requests, in service now/jira platform.
* leads anaplan projects / project threads (conduct the model building and data movement strategy)
* implements model building with anaplan recommended best practices and guides the team to follow best practices as well
* able to provide an impact analysis when change requirements come in by having a thorough understanding of the model
* looks out for any sizing/optimization issues and resolve them
* contributes to design phases of projects (i.e., leading initiatives from the development of a business cases to its implementation)
* has a good understanding of anaplan planual, disco and plans methodologies
* familiar with firm's anaplan solutions and assets and is able drive demos
* has completed training on advanced topics in model building – 301 to 311
* detailed knowledge on some of the functional use cases like fp&a, sc, tqm, tpm etc.
* able to share project experience/critical topics with the anaplan community
* is on the guided learning path to solution architect role
* basic knowledge on anaplan extended capabilities
nice to have:
* familiarity with oracle epm planning (epbcs) or consolidations (fccs)
* proficiency with planning, budgeting and forecasting processes, financial modeling and scenario analysis
* familiarity with business intelligence (bi) tools
