position: senior project manager
role overview
we are looking for a senior project manager to lead strategic internal projects for t‑systems mexico. This role has full accountability for project delivery, including scope, budget, quality, risks and stakeholder management.
the senior project manager acts as a key decision-maker, provides leadership to project managers and project leaders and ensures alignment with organizational objectives and okrs.
key responsibilities
* lead end-to-end delivery of complex internal it projects
* define project strategy, scope, objectives, success metrics and delivery roadmap
* own project governance, budget control, timelines and quality standards
* proactively identify, assess and mitigate project risks and dependencies
* manage senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment, transparency and value delivery
* lead, mentor and performance-manage project managers and project leaders
* drive continuous improvement in project management processes and best practices
* ensure adherence to pmp, agile scrum, itil and okrs methodologies
* present project status, risks and outcomes to senior leadership
key performance indicators
* consistent delivery of projects on time, within budget and meeting quality targets
* stakeholder and senior management satisfaction
* effective risk and dependency management
* optimized resource utilisation across multiple projects
* measurable process improvements and operational efficiencies
required skills & qualifications
education
* bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, electronics or a related field
* master’s degree preferred
experience
* 3+ years of proven experience as a project manager in it environments
* strong track record delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects
* experience leading and developing project management teams
* solid background in financial management and budget ownership
technical & methodological expertise
* advanced knowledge of pmp and agile scrum methodologies
* working knowledge of okrs and itil processes
* strong understanding of it infrastructure, networks, application development/support and workplace services
* experience with project management tools such as jira, microsoft project or similar platforms
languages
* fluent english and spanish (mandatory)
