The Estimation Engineers report to the Estimation Managers and are responsible for delivering assigned proposals primary for AMER Pole and integral also. The extended responsibility includes understanding the Front-end sales/External customer expectation from different geographies, culture & working style. Provide quality proposals as per the Global standards by offering best technical solution to meet the customer requirements at an optimal cost. This also requires enormous efforts to engage with cross-functional teams (Operations, Engineering, Sourcing, Marketing, & Product Support) to identify & mitigate technical & commercial risks.
Delivery of proposals – technical and price bids, on time for assigned proposals for Terminal Automation Systems and Metering
Work with BDM/Sales to develop the Scope for Terminal Automation Project.
Develop proposal complete in all respects ranging from medium size to Large and Complex, against the inquiry including technical compliance / response documentation, specify scope limits and prepare cost estimates.
Support Bid Technical evaluation and customer presentations of proposed solutions.
Prepare the Technical Queries after reading of Tender/RFQ/Scope
Site survey (if requested by Sales) and Technical Discussions with customers.
Evaluate proposals from vendors for project buy-outs for technical compliance and completeness.
Prepare tax / duty estimates using Estimation tools and guidance from respective team leaders.
Review and Evaluate Proposals from team for completeness and errors.
Cost optimizations.
Preparation of Final EGAP DECK for Management Review and submitting the Online EGAP using CPQ.
Provide input for continuous improvement of systems and processes to support accurate proposals and productivity
Understanding of major competition and their product features and functionalities.
Proficient with computer-based business software/automation tools.

Qualifications:
Around 9-10 years of engineering /Estimation experience. Estimation experience of 2-3 years minimum preferred.
BE (Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Control /Electronics/Industrial Chemical)
Experience in supporting customers / end users in multiple verticals and networking with OEMS, EPCs and consultants.
