senior production planner, your future role?
you will plan the materials requirements for our fragrances manufacturing operations in mexico. To fulfil this goal, your role will include materials ordering and inventory, and production planning and scheduling, to ensure that our products can be manufactured and supplied on time to our customers as defined by our quality standards and operative goals. You will play an important part in ensuring our customers' satisfaction and the growth of our fragrances business.
you will report into the sr. Supply chain manager and work on-site in our manufacturing site located at pedro escobedo, querétaro.
your main responsibilities will be:
* work with demand planners and with commercial and manufacturing organizations to review customer orders and agree on production plans and schedules.
* determine production schedules based on inventory levels and materials requirements.
* provide production schedules and related supply forecasts to procurement to ensure materials availability.
* place, track and file orders for materials. Enter and maintain materials requirements data in sap system; validate system configuration whenever updated or changed.
* work with the purchasing organization to resolve materials availability, and quality or vendor issues.
* monitor production schedules to inform the demand planners, customer care and commercial organizations about product delivery dates or resolve delays.
* monitor and check accuracy of supply and inventory data in related systems (sap, slob).
* implement opportunities for improvement regarding supply planning and service to customers.
* issue and distribute status reports (e.g. Cooispi schedule, ots, past due purchase orders).

your professional profile must include:
* engineering university degree: chemical, industrial, or similar.
* at least 5 years of experience as a production planner/scheduler in the chemicals industry.
* advanced english, both oral and written.
* experience using sap.
* advanced excel skills (can maintain complex spreadsheets).
