responsibilities
* configure scoped applications and core platform components following best-practice patterns, security controls, access models, and governance standards.
* support development and configuration activities across servicenow modules, including general platform features and workplace service delivery (wsd) use cases such as requests, cases, and service tasks.
* build and maintain integrations with enterprise systems using rest/soap apis, integrationhub, and mid server, ensuring secure and reliable data exchange.
* develop automation and orchestration solutions (flows, workflows, business rules, script includes, ui policies, record producers, catalog items) to improve operational efficiency and end-user experience.
* create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, build notes, update sets, integration specifications, and deployment or support runbooks.
* provide post-deployment support by troubleshooting functional or technical issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing enhancements based on stakeholder feedback.
* maintain solution quality through peer reviews, adherence to servicenow sdlc practices, and alignment with release, deployment, and platform security standards.
* collaborate with senior developers, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into implementable user stories and delivery estimates.
* contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing across the servicenow platform team.
* research and support adoption of emerging servicenow capabilities and module enhancements, presenting options and recommendations as appropriate.
* act with integrity and professionalism to support a respectful, collaborative, and inclusive work environment.
qualifications
* servicenow platform development fundamentals
* 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in servicenow development or platform configuration
* business rules, script includes, client scripts
* ui policies, record producers, and forms
* flow designer and hr automation
* service catalog and case management concepts
* workplace service delivery (wsd) exposure
* rest / soap integrations (basic patterns)
* integrationhub and mid server (working knowledge)
* servicenow csa certification
* additional servicenow certifications (module or micro-certifications)
* agile / scrum delivery practices
* technical documentation
* problem solving and troubleshooting
* stakeholder communication and collaboration
* continuous learning and adaptability
