we are now holding interviews for english teachers to teach 2 to 6 year old students at our kindergarten schools in a variety of exciting cities around china. Select the city best suited to you, we have positions based in beijing, shanghai, shenzhen, guangzhou, suzhou, hangzhou, wuhan, changsha, dalian, xiamen, sanya, foshan, guiyang, hefei, zhuhai, nanjing, jiangmen and zhongshan.
As an international kindergarten english teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a complete teaching plan. You will teach alphabet and numeracy along with personal, social and emotional skills. You will organize learning material and resources and use a variety of activities and instructional methods such as songs, stories, media, structured games, art and outdoor activities to motivate and stimulate children’s abilities.
You will maintain an open line of communication with parents and provide appropriate information. You will assess students’ performance and progress to ensure they are mastering the skills on a regular basis. You will monitor children’s interactions and nurture cooperation and sharing and will cooperate with administration staff and follow teaching standards and safety regulations.
All new teachers will receive training on arrival and will be introduced to the kindergarten and teaching methods. Teaching materials and resources are provided by the school and are targeted to the age of the students being taught. Teachers are encouraged to adapt and supplement the materials where needed to ensure classes are engaging and interesting.
Classes are held during the day time from mondays to fridays, with no more than 25 teaching hours per week and you will have evenings and weekends off.

native english speaker from uk, usa, canada, australia, new zealand, ireland or south africa
bachelor’s degree
tefl / celta / teaching license certificate (no tefl? We recommend intesol)
previous teaching experience with kindergarten or young learners is preferred
cultural sensitivity, awareness, and willingness to explore other cultures
