your tasks
duties and responsibilities
material planning
* check complex requirement notices regarding quantities, dates, and descriptions using the system.
* define and ensure economical order quantities according to planning rules.
* update logistics material master data, considering targets like safety stock levels for purchased parts.
* check safety stock levels, batch sizes, lead times, and correct stored data.
* manage stock levels of a complex parts spectrum.
* participate in optimizing the supply chain within departmental specifications.
* perform complex stock management for a designated responsibility area.
* participate in coordination meetings with internal posts.
* plan, control, and monitor complex deliveries of purchased parts based on requirements and schedules.
* control component allocation for external production, considering quantity and timing.
* serve as the central contact for material planning processes and supplier management.
* conduct training and knowledge transfer on standardized material planning processes.
* create regular analyses of material master data, including stock values and ranges, and make corrections as needed.
* monitor and measure to achieve targets.
* provide first-level support for purchase parts planners.
* trigger orders and follow up on deadlines.
* monitor delivery dates, escalate in difficult situations.
* develop solutions for supply bottlenecks collaboratively.
* check incoming order confirmations, clarify discrepancies.
* coordinate on-schedule parts/material provision, monitor usage and returns.
* process incoming goods journal, handle excess deliveries or schedule changes, initiate escalations.
* set up and monitor supplier consignment stores system-related.
* prepare and conduct logistics supplier meetings, participate in evaluations.
* process invoice differences related to quantity on accounts payable.
* monitor kanban control loops, determine necessary master and movement data.
* take planning responsibility for items before sop.
* analyze and correct scheduling master data as needed.
* specify and implement system change requests, including gathering requirements, gap analysis, testing, training, documentation.
* configure and document sap modules related to material planning to meet business needs.
project management / key user
* support management and project leads for complex logistics projects, including rollout and implementation of standard processes.
* plan, coordinate, and monitor project tasks using defined methods and systems.
* coach and train project teams, trigger additional training if necessary.
* negotiate logistics conditions with suppliers, service providers, and customers (e.g., jit/jis processes, turnaround times, packaging).
your qualifications
* professional experience in supply chain and logistics within the automotive industry.
* intermediate english proficiency.
* knowledge of incoterms.
* experience with jit (just-in-time).
* proficiency in sap mm modules for material planning.
* experience with asn generation, doh calculation, and master data maintenance.
* critical leadership capabilities: problem-solving under pressure, strong analytical thinking, leadership skills in high-pressure environments, time management.
